The Poetry of Our Body 100Hr Training

£1,260.00

Part of the 300Hr Poetry Training

Date: 18th-24th September 2027 8-6PM
Total Investment: £1260
Deposit: £150

This first module is an invitation into a lifelong practice of living with greater awareness, integrity, and humanity.

Together, we explore the poetry of the body—not through concepts alone, but through direct embodied experience. Beyond words lies the wordless landscape of being, where philosophy is no longer something we study, but something we live through every movement, sensation, and breath.

Through the exploration of the chakras, elements, and senses, we begin to understand the subtle body as a living landscape of awareness. These teachings invite us to experience the body as a dynamic field of energy, perception, and consciousness, deepening our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

Through movement, self-inquiry, philosophy, and holistic practice, we investigate the subtle body as a living terrain. Students are invited to embody the landscape of their own body while cultivating a refined understanding of presence, relational awareness, and the art of therapeutic touch.

The module also introduces an evidence-informed understanding of trauma through the lens of Somatic Counselling. Rather than viewing trauma solely as a psychological experience, we explore how it is expressed through the nervous system and body, and how embodied practices can support regulation, resilience, balance, and integration.

What You Will Explore

  • The elements, and senses as embodied pathways to greater awareness and self-understanding.

  • Evidence-based principles of somatics and their integration with yoga and embodied movement.

  • The relationship between Non-Dual Tantric philosophy and contemporary somatic practice.

  • The foundations of trauma theory through the perspective of Somatic Counselling, including how the body stores and expresses experience.

  • Developing greater sensitivity to your own nervous system while cultivating the capacity to attune safely and skilfully to others.

  • The principles and practice of therapeutic touch as a tool for presence, regulation, and embodied connection.

  • Embodied movement practices that awaken awareness, creativity, and authentic expression from within.
